Cape Town Under 18 International Schools/Clubs Hockey Festival

Just a short note to express my deepest appreciation for a wonderful Hockey Festival. We ran off after the prize giving to escape the wind and stampede and never came round to greet.

We had a wonderful week in Cape Town and were fortunate enough to play in the finals against the Dutch team. So things really seemed to go our way. It could not have been possible if it were not for your excellent organization. Thank you for the professional way in which the whole festival was run.

Nicole you are a star. Always friendly and professional. You gave colour to the festival!!!! We really hope that we will make it next year. Louise Reyneke

Dear Chris, Nicole and all at Brothers Sport,

On behalf of Wynberg Boys’ High School as well as the players and staff of the 1st XI Hockey, I would like to say thank you to all at Brothers Sport - especially Nicole, for another wonderful U18 Schools/Clubs festival run over the past week in Cape Town.

It is no easy task organising such a mammoth event, but Brothers Sport put everything together with the highest of standards in mind. We are appreciative of all the staff involved, from the technical tables and First Aiders to the umpires; all were co-operative, professional and friendly. Their contribution was significant in ensuring the enjoyment of the festival for all of our boys.

It is fantastic to see how the festival has grown over the past ten years and we are hoping that you will continue to attract more and more quality sides in the future. It was a pleasure to have made it through to the final and play against a quality side - our boys have definitely grown and learnt from the worthwhile experience.

This year's tournament was the best tournament that you have ever organized!!!

I came into this tournament with one of the weakest u/19 sides that I have had in many years. My girls improved with every single match and the experience has been invaluable for them. The umpires were definitely of a higher standard than in the past. I loved having so many teams in the tournament - it just made everything so much more interesting and more competitive.
